Marketing the Workshop to Other Business Units
Sample E-Mail for Initial Contact

One way to begin your internal marketing program for The Instructional Developer Workshop is an e-mail to training managers throughout (company). As professional developers and managers of corporate instruction, they’re likely to appreciate the benefits of attendance by trainers, training managers, and perhaps subject matter experts. You can work with key training managers to disseminate accurate information and ensure strong support for the workshop.

Send an initial e-mail to training managers throughout (company). If possible, address each manager by name in the body of the e-mail. This example shows one initial approach to (company) training managers; feel free to modify it in any way.
